Local Galli Seller Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Local Galli, a marketplace dedicated to connecting local sellers and small businesses across India. By registering as a seller on Local Galli, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Onboarding and Subscription Charges

  • Free Onboarding: Sellers can onboard up to 5 products for free for a lifetime.
  • Subscription Charges: For more than 5 products, a subscription charge of ₹499 per month applies.
  • Payment Terms: Subscription charges can be paid quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Payment for the first 5 products is free; subsequent payments must be made after the seller is onboarded.

3. Transaction Fees and GST

  • Transaction Fees: Full payment is made based on every order after the deduction of 2% for all transactions (3.5% for all AMEX and Diners Club cards) and 18% GST on the deduction. These charges align with Razorpay Payment Gateway fees, as detailed here.
  • GST Bills: GST bills are generated based on each seller's transactions.

4. Order and Delivery

  • Order Processing: Orders are sent to sellers for delivery.
  • Pick and Delivery Services: Provided through Delhivery with an additional subscription charge of ₹499 per month.
  • Cash on Delivery: This option is available through Delhivery's services.
  • Delivery Handling: Sellers are responsible for product quality and handling during delivery. In case of returns, sellers must adhere to Local Galli's return or replacement policies.

5. Product Listing and Marketing

  • Product Details: Sellers must provide accurate product names, details, and specifications to display on the portal.
  • Pricing and Sales Support: Local Galli will assist with product pricing and support during discount or clearance sales. Sellers are also expected to cooperate with Local Galli during promotional offers.
  • Marketing Permissions: Sellers must grant permissions for product images or brand images to be used by Local Galli for marketing and promotion. Sellers must transfer the necessary copyrights to Local Galli.

6. Subscription Management

  • Deactivation: Shops will be deactivated upon non-payment of subscription charges.
  • Non-refundable: Subscription amounts are non-refundable.

By joining Local Galli as a seller, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Local Galli reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to sellers through appropriate channels.
